Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey optional protein
For the Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
For the Vegetables
  • 1 count bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium red onion sliced
For the Toppings
  • 2 cups corn chips store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • 1 cup salsa fresh or store-bought
  • 1 count avocado or guacamole, for topping
  • to taste fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef or turkey, cumin, paprika, and chili powder. Cook until browned.
  2. Add sliced bell pepper and red onion to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender.
  3. In a serving bowl, layer the cooked protein and vegetables. Top with corn chips, shredded cheese, salsa, avocado, and cilantro.

Notes

You can customize toppings based on your preferences. Consider adding sour cream or jalapeños for extra flavor.
