Ingredients
  

For the Beef
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
For the Additional Sauce
  • ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup soy sauce additional
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ cup beef broth
For Serving
  • cooked rice for serving

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine beef sirloin, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove from the wok.
  3. Add garlic, onion, and bell pepper to the wok. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Return the beef to the wok. Add pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and beef broth. Stir well and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar. Feel free to add other vegetables as desired.
