- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and spicy sausage to the pot. Cook until the sausage is browned.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped basil.
