Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Gradually mix into the butter mixture until just blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
