- Boil a pot of salted water and add the mixed potatoes. Cook until fork-tender, about 20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes, then return them to the pot. Mash with butter, milk, sour cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.

You can adjust the consistency by adding more milk or butter as needed.
