Ingredients
  

For the Pizza Dough or use store-bought
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon flour for dusting
For the Ricotta Topping
  • 1 cup whole-milk ricotta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Hot Honey
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1–2 teaspoon to taste
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Optional Toppings
  • fresh basil
  • crushed red pepper
  • chili oil
  • extra parmesan

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a baking sheet.
  3. Mix the ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and olive oil in a bowl.
  4. Spread the ricotta mixture over the pizza dough.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until the crust is golden.
  6. While the pizza is baking, mix honey, red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.
  7. Once the pizza is done, drizzle the hot honey over the top and add optional toppings if desired.

Notes

Use fresh basil and crushed red pepper for extra flavor.
