Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in butter, heavy cream, chicken broth, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. In the last 4 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets. Drain and combine with chicken and sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with parsley and additional Parmesan cheese. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
