- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes. Stir in balsamic vinegar and brown sugar, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place naan on a baking sheet. Top with caramelized onions, sliced brie, and chopped walnuts. Drizzle with maple syrup. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and naan is crispy.
- Remove from oven and season with salt and black pepper. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves before serving.
Notes
You can substitute walnuts with pecans for a different flavor. Adjust the sweetness of the dish by varying the amount of maple syrup.
