Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Tenders
  • 1 cup mild vegetable oil Adjust based on skillet size
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons paprika hot, smoked, or regular
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2.5 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2.5 to 3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast tenders
Dipping Sauces
  • ketchup, barbecue sauce, ranch dressing, spicy bourbon maple syrup, or other desired dip

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and water.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken tenders until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. Serve the chicken tenders with your choice of dipping sauces.

You can vary the spices in the flour mixture to suit your taste.
