Creamy Lemon Chicken with Spaghetti

Ingredients
  

For the chicken
  • 1 lb Chicken breast cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ cup Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the pasta
  • 8 oz Spaghetti
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • ½ cup Pasta water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
For garnish
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley or chives
  • 2 slices Lemon slices
  • ¼ cup Extra parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown.
  2. Add minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning. Stir and let simmer.
  3. In a pot, cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and reserve pasta water.
  4. Add heavy cream, grated parmesan, and reserved pasta water to the skillet. Mix well.
  5. Toss in cooked spaghetti and stir until well coated. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Serve garnished with fresh parsley, lemon slices, and extra parmesan cheese.

Notes

You can add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for more flavor.
