  • 2 packs ramen noodles discard seasoning packets
For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts or thighs, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika optional
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped
Optional Toppings
  • soft-boiled eggs

Method
 

  1. In a pot, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat. Add garlic and chicken, cooking until the chicken is browned.
  3. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and optional paprika and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the cooked ramen noodles and green onions to the skillet. Stir to combine and heat through.
  5. Serve hot, adding optional toppings like soft-boiled eggs, mushrooms, or spinach as desired.
