Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 4 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Warm milk
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 teaspoon Instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
For the Cinnamon Filling
  • ½ cup Butter (softened)
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cinnamon powder
For the Frosting
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon Milk

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the melted butter, egg, flour, and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough and spread softened butter for the filling. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over it.
  5. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into rolls. Place in a baking dish.
  6. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
  7. For the frosting, beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
  8. Spread the frosting over warm cinnamon rolls before serving.

Notes

Store leftover rolls in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
