Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 16 ounces rigatoni cooked until just firm
For the Sauce
  • 24 ounces jarred marinara sauce
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ yellow onion finely chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herb blend
  • to your liking none Black pepper

  • 1 cup mozzarella shredded

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and ground beef. Cook until beef is browned.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked rigatoni with the sauce mixture. Transfer to a baking dish and top with mozzarella.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

You can add vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini for extra nutrition.
